...when
i painted this i was a happy little vegemite undergoing a personal metamorphosis...
...the
central inspiration came from a couple of drawings i'd seen in a book by
the
great 16th century anatomist andreas vesalius who...so it is
said...
...robbed
graves and dissected the corpses for his studies...
...yeah...well...i
suppose i robbed some of his concepts...
...and
a touch of dali's...gave them a twist...
...and...egg

starts...
...isn't
it..?
...well...there
isn't a real story to this one...or...if there was...i've forgotten it......
...my
friend lea told me my memory is f**ked...so...how would
i know
why
or when i drew it...still...it was a fun doodle...at the time...
whenever
that was...sometime in the '80's...maybe...
..."A hand in it all"...
...originally
a pen and ink drawing which i scanned and then 'painted'
using
photoshop...about the same size as the work above...

of my b/w drawings...
